Popsicle

Popsicle is a riotous celebration of the female gaze. A brightly expressive homage to strength, power and rage, challenging the typical depiction of women in dance and cinema. Shot at over 1000 frames per second on the Phantom camera, the film captures infinitesimal moments of ferocity and grace that would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye.

This short film has been featured on Digital Out of Home screens around the LA area, as well as being featured at MIT, the San Francisco Dance Film Festival, and in Season 3 of HBO’s Westworld.
